Hunting was not only for survival, but was an important part of their culture and spirituality. Each coin carries a wealth of historical and cultural significance, making it suitable for collecting enthusiasts as a valuable collector’s item.
This is the finest example graded by PCGS. It came from an old Wayte Raymond album. The toning is spectacular with a great strike and cartwheel luster. There are a few light scratches on the holder seen in pics. Thanks for looking.
Very rare fractional British Columbia gold token. NGC shows this one Top Pop and ties it with one other. NGC’s total population is seven, and PCGS shows only 1 (MS-63), giving the Greene-220 a total pop certified of 8 by all grading services in all grades. Rarity 7. FINEST KNOWN / TOP POP! Nice semi-prooflike surfaces. Solid gold as tested by NGC during their extensive certification process.
This is highly sought variety, and this gorgeous coin is one of the finest known. Between NGC & PCGS there only four other 64RB’s graded, and just one 64RD topping those by color. Rick Snow does note a 65BN in his book, although that is not on census with NGC or PCGS.
