Very Nice 1983 FS-401 Lincoln memorial Cent PCGS MS-63 RB. A key rarity for the Lincoln series, only a few are known and only one has been offered at auction (A MS-62 RB sold for $8500.00). The obverse has die damage with the letters “LIBER” from LIBERTY impressed 2 extra times on the obverse. This was likely due to the metal from the reverse die that had broken off (creating the reverse cud) getting temporarily stuck in the die chamber as it broke and getting impressed with those letters from “LIBERTY” and for two more stamps, stamping the LIBER impression from that broken piece as it skidded across the available surface in the die chamber. If you have any questions I’m happy to help.
