1864-S $10 PCGS XF40 ex: D.L. Hansen

None are known in UNC and only ten AU examples are graded between PCGS and NGC. The finest known are two AU55+ examples certified by PCGS. Healthy details are highlighted by pleasing remaining luster that glows from the surfaces.

1882 O BU Morgan Dollar VAM 18A PCGS MS63 Clashed Obverse n, We, ust, TOP POP

PCGS MS63. I also just got in a MS64 and just listed it which is now the real finest known. This is a VERY tough to get die clashed variety. 18A III211 · C3a (Doubled 882 Left, Clashed Obverse n, We, ust, M) ( ? ).

1882-S $1 PCGS MS66 DMPL ex: D.L. Hansen

Deep, bowl-like luster from cupped dies create a really unique appearance on this beautiful coin. The watery mirrors and heavy die polish lines on the reverse are quite incredible to behold. Tied with 11 others at PCGS for the finest known in existence. – Morgan Dollar

1909 VDB 1c PCGS/CAC MS67+ RD ex: D.L. Hansen

Popular first-year issue with designer’s initials (VDB) added to the reverse. Spotless with full mint bloom and perfect original red coloration. Bested by only 5 finer at PCGS, yet none of those carry the CAC seal of approval, making this example arguably one of the finest known. – Lincoln Cent (Wheat Reverse)

1812 1C PCGS MS64BN (S-289, Large Date) ex: D.L. Hansen

This is the PCGS plate coin for the variety and is the single finest known with no red-brown or red examples known (though other unattributed examples are likely to exist). Deep, dark chocolate surfaces glow with orange-red hues on both well-defined sides. The outer star tips as well as the date and reserve peripheral lettering stretch toward the rims as the metal filled out the dies. Brilliantly strong devices glow with soft retained luster. Two planchet voids by star-13 and a light abrasion in front of Liberty’s nose are the only mentionable flaws. A pleasing example of the Sheldon-289 Large Date variety, this coin boasts light die clashing. Sure to please the discerning collector. – Classic Head Cent
