Very scarce date in this grade despite its modern issuance.
1871 Pattern J-1056 5C PCGS PR67RB (CAC)
A registry-worthy plus grade gem that is tied for the finest known at PCGS. If you want the best, you have found it. – Lincoln Cent (Modern)
One of only seven graded MS67+ by PCGS, with just one CAC-approved at a higher level. This ranks among the finest known examples of this Philadelphia issue and no doubt visually at the very top. Spectacular eye appeal.
The reverse is more softly toned, exhibiting a refined blend of pearl-silver, olive-gold, plum, and powder blue, with hints of sea-green and amber tucked into the recesses of the wreath. The frost is thick and undisturbed on both sides, and the surfaces remain virtually pristine.
Tied for finest known in the non-FB category. – Mercury Dime
2021p mint error obverse clad fully missing only one known specimen extremely rare!
FYI;Case has a couple small oval scuffs in reverse viewing area, not bad enough to recase/(leave with pcgs for months). This coin is a perfect example of why you buy the coin ,NOT the label.
A remarkable example of this very rare NC variety that has fewer than 20 known examples. This is the finest of just 3 graded at PCGS (the others are AG3 and G6). Bold detail for the assigned grade.
